- Every color theme in the header picker is contrast-checked in CI against WCAG 2.x thresholds — including for common color-vision deficiencies.
- All interactive controls — chord charts, fretboard cells, playback buttons — are keyboard-reachable with visible focus and proper ARIA states.
- Chord and fretboard diagrams mirror for left-handed players via the header’s Lefty toggle.
- Pages carry a skip link, one H1, and a screen-reader live region for dynamic announcements.
- Audio never autoplays; everything is tap-to-hear.
Known limits
The fretboard explorer and chord playback are inherently visual and aural tools; their underlying data (notes, frets, tunings) is always also presented as text on the same page.
